We will be holding DRIVE-THRU CLINICS ONLY on Tuesday, October 6th at the GUNNISON COUNTY RODEO GROUNDS, 275 S Spruce St. in Gunnison from 2-6pm and Wednesday, October 7th at the CRESTED BUTTE COMMUNITY SCHOOL, 818 Red Lady Ave. in Crested Butte from 3-6pm. TWO WEEKS LEFT TO VISIT GUNNISON PIONEER MUSEUM! The Pioneer Museum has been called the Smithsonian of Colorado by recent guests and will be closing for the season on September 28. The Museum is open Fridays through Mondays from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with admission $10.00 for ages 13+, $3.00 for ages 7-12, and free for those 6 and under. Plan your visit soon!

SAFE RIDE RETURNS! After being gone for the summer of 2020, Safe Ride has received permission from the Health Department to resume service, with some important conditions. We will resume operations starting on September 18th, operating only on Friday and Saturday Nights from 8pm until 12pm, midnight. As always, if you need a ride, call 970-209-RIDE (7433). All passengers will be required to wear a mask for the full ride. Please bring your own mask. We can only accommodate 5 passengers at a time. If you are at risk, we cannot give you a ride. There are NO EXCEPTIONS! If we find that people do not respect these limits, we may discontinue service for everyone’s safety.

SILENT TRACKS IS PLEASED TO PRESENT THE QUIET PLACES QUEST a “virtual” event. The challenge is to complete at least 30 unique miles on wilderness area trails in Gunnison National Forest. Track the routes you hike or run on any combination of wilderness area trails anytime in September 2020. This non-timed event is open to all ages and prize categories include most miles logged; oldest and youngest participant, and best photo.
